Club Policy & Dress Code

Acceptable Standards of Dress

New Dress Code Policy:

Presentable, clean, dress jeans are now acceptable Monday through Friday for lunch and Tuesday through Friday for dinner at the Fay Club. Baggy or ripped jeans are not permitted. In addition, no athletic apparel, work boots or sneakers will be accepted. Denim is not acceptable attire for member events, Saturdays or dining in the formal dining room.

With the exclusion of Saturday evening, business attire will always be accepted in the Club. This is defined as dress shirts with a collar, dress slacks and dress shoes for men and equivalent attire for women.

Saturday evening dining will remain Formal. Suit or suit coat and tie for men and dress, pantsuit or equivalent formal attire for women. (Casual dining on Saturday evening is available upon request, however, jeans will not be permitted.)

Please remember that Formal Dress is always appropriate and welcomed at all times at The Fay Club.

This is an experimental change and will be made on a temporary basis until the end of June 2012 and will be reevaluated at that time.

Club Policies

The Fay Club has a 20% house charge that is added into the bill
(along with 6.25% meal tax). During the December holiday season,
the Club sends out requests for the Employee Appreciation Fund,
asking the members to donate what they feel is appropriate.

The Club bills monthly, sending along copies of your lunch and
dinner checks. Full members are billed quarterly for dues and
every other month for food minimums. You can pay by credit card
(Visa & MasterCard) or check.

Smoking is permitted in certain areas of the Club.
